By placing an order with North Country Acres, you agree to the following terms:
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice.
Payment is due in full upon placing an order, unless otherwise stated. Payment can be made through the website by credit card, as well as by e-transfer, or cash.
Custom Cut Orders: Prices are based on dressed weight and may vary depending on the final yield and processing specifics.
Deposits
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required when ordering custom cuts to reserve your order. This deposit is applied toward the final price and secures your order on our list, the balance is due when your order is ready and must be paid upon delivery or pickup.
Cancellations & Changes
Once a deposit is received and processing is scheduled, cancellations are not permitted. If you need to reschedule or adjust your order, please notify us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
If you fail to pick up your order within 3 days of notification that it is ready, additional storage fees will apply and will be due upon pick-up.
Cutting Instructions
When ordering a custom cut beef, customers are required to provide specific cutting instructions. While we strive to accommodate your preferences, some cuts may be unavailable based on the animal’s size or the availability of certain cuts. We will contact you in the event that any requested cuts are not possible.
Delivery & Pickup
Customers are responsible for picking up their meat order from our farm or arranging for delivery (if available). We will notify you when your order is ready, and you will have up to 3 days to pick up your order. Delivery options are available for an additional charge, depending on your location. Delivery quotes will be provided if requested on your custom cut order form.
North Country Acres is not responsible for any damage or spoilage once the meat has been picked up or delivered.
Refunds & Returns
Due to the perishable nature of the product, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges once your order has been processed and delivered or picked up. However, if there is an issue with the quality of your product, please contact us immediately, and we will address it on a case-by-case basis.

Services Provided
We offer grass-fed, pasture-raised beef, available as whole, half, or quarter cuts. All beef is processed by certified butchers according to industry standards and customer specifications.
All orders are subject to availability and processing times.
Order Processing
Orders are processed based on the dressed weight of the animal and cutting instructions provided by the customer. Orders may vary slightly in weight and yield due to natural variances in the animal and butchering process.
We will confirm your order once a deposit is received, and will notify you when your beef is ready for pickup or delivery.
Customer Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate contact details, cutting instructions, and delivery or pickup preferences. Failure to do so may result in delays or miscommunication regarding your order.
You must ensure that you or a representative is available to pick up your order when it is ready. Failure to pickup or arrange for delivery may result in additional fees or forfeiture of your order.
Liability & Indemnity
North Country Acres is not responsible for any injury or harm that may occur during the handling, preparation, or consumption of our beef. Customers should follow all recommended food safety guidelines for proper handling, storage, and cooking.
We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from third-party delivery services, including delays, spoilage, or mis delivery.
Privacy & Data Security
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected through our website will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders and improving customer service. We do not share or sell your information to third parties.
Deposit Requirement
Quarter, Half, or Whole Beef Orders
A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to secure your order and will go toward the final price.
Deposit payment methods: You can pay your deposit by e-transfer, or cash. The remaining balance will be due upon completion of your order and before delivery or pickup, the final amount will be provided once we pick up the meat from the abattoir.
Refunds
Deposits are non-refundable once paid, as they secure your place in our processing queue and cover the costs of reserving an animal and scheduling butcher time.
If you need to make changes to your order after the deposit has been made, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes based on availability.
